All you people are vampires

I may be rambling on but I've decided to discuss my opinions on social situations and just people in general.

I may be wrong and probably am but in my world there's only a few people I truly trust and believe are just being their selves. Most of my friends show no fear or embarrassment to who they are as a person. I feel happy in life knowing that I have friends like that and would like to think I am just like them.

One thing I have noticed from going out drinking and just being around people in general is that a lot are just scared to be themselves. They hide in their social groups and Cliché personalities so that they feel as part of the social circuit but think they are individual, which annoys me because 'Why be like this?'. What's there to fear or gain from it? Where have all the individual personalities gone!

One of the main offenders of this tragic way is what I call the "get around person' who is enthralled in becoming the main guy/girl in the environment they are in. By either talking to every person and lying about their own self and putting people down. Basically, being an every person which is just wrong! If people don't respect you for who you are...and I don't just mean the average person who says 'I don't care what people think' - shut up! It's in are nature to be welcomed and feel part of things. Well anyway, It's fair enough to go around and mingle but just as long as your being your self.

My next annoyance is the social bully. Yes we all know them! There the ones that try to put anything down because they feel a kind of threat (usually with snide digs and a lot of sarcasm) - their just dogs chewing on a bone until the taste and meat has gone. These people obviously are insecure in their selves so they try to get rid of any threat coming into their social group but Hey! why? Shouldn't we really give everyone a chance? I say yes!

Knowledge is power!...Yes it is but can knowledge also feed ignorance and a pretentiousness? I've found that some people that see their selves as intelligent in what ever field begin to undermine everything else. Intelligence is a relative thing in the world and ones intelligence isn't greater then another so why be an idiot about it! shouldn't we really look at everything with an open mind? The best thing to do in my opinion is too learn as you go. My friends are smart in different ways but I try to take in what they know as a useful thing and use it as one. Bruce Lee's method on his martial arts 'Jeet kune do' was primarily to use every fighting form he'd been taught and take every good part of it and make it his own to benefit himself.

There's many more things I could point out but I'm knackered and will probably do more at a later date. But for now! Be yourself and have no fear.

-Peace-
